The 2026 Seaside Christmas Fair and Silent Auction

Save the date - the 2026 Seaside Christmas Fair is Saturday December 5!  

It may be hot outside, but it’s time to start thinking about the Fair!  This annual event brings our church family and the community together for a fun-filled day that is also a very important fund-raiser for FTCC.  

In addition to the popular luncheon, photos with Santa, fresh greenery and more, The Fair Committee has some new ideas for this year’s Seaside Christmas Fair – and we need your help to make these happen!  Here is our 2026 Fair Wish List – will you help grant some of our wishes?  

• NEW Pet Shoppe table!  This table will feature everything for pets and pet lovers – treats for pets and pet parents, blankets, toys, sweaters and bandanas, food and water bowls – you name it!  Our wish: 
  • One or more volunteers to chair the new Pet Shoppe table 
  • Donations of new or handmade items for cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, bunnies – and of course, for their pet parents!  
• NEW Themed Gift Card Raffle!  With your help we’ll assemble several themed gift card boards – each a collection of donated gift cards – to be raffled during the Fair.  Our wish: 
  • One or more volunteers to chair the Gift Card Raffle and request gift card donations from local businesses 
  • Individuals to donate gift cards to their favorite local shops and restaurants
  • Theme ideas – such as Home & Garden, Dining Out, Coffee Break, Home Improvement, Dinner and a Movie – what are some other fun and attractive gift card themes?  
• Jams, jellies, preserves, relishes, salsa, pesto, tomato sauce, pickles – these would all be a fabulous addition to the Gourmet Goodies table!  Our wish: 
  • Donations - would you put up a few extra jars when you’re harvesting your garden this summer and fall?
  • Volunteers to teach a group how to make any and all of these items – we are willing to learn if you will teach us how to preserve berries, vegetables and more.  
• The Silent Auction team would like to offer more experiences this year!  Our wish – donations of experiences such as: 
  • A weekend at a ski chalet, lake cabin or beach cottage 
  • Tickets to sporting events, plays or concerts
  • A catered dinner party or reception at the winner’s home
  • Spring yard clean-up and flower planting

• The Gift Basket table is always a success thanks to your generous donations.  Our wish: 
  • Baskets, crates and other empty containers – especially medium and large sizes – that we will transform into Gift Baskets for sale at the Fair!  Please leave all donations on the church porch.
